I bought a SCBC Groupon on a whim last year. At that point in my life, my weight was at an all time high and my health was beginning to suffer. Six months later, I have lost 50 pounds and dropped 5% of my body fat and I feel amazing. There are many aspects of SCBC that really work for me. The workouts are short and intense so my time at the gym is minimal but I continue to see amazing results. The trainers are very knowledgeable and approachable, which makes it easy for me to get answers to all of my fitness and nutrition questions. I have been able to consistently fit in a 40 minute Boot Camp session nearly every day and have learned an incredible amount about how to maximize my time at the gym. My favorite thing about SCBC is that it truly is a positive energy zone. Everyone there is 100% encouragement, 100% of the time. The positivity draws me in, keeps me coming back, and makes it possible for me to set and achieve previously unimaginable goals for myself. I’ve been coming to So Cal Boot Camp for the last 6 months. I’ve lost a total of 50 pounds and 10% body fat. I love everything about this place: from the trainers’ enthusiasm to the crazy workouts. They can be difficult – but the results are completely worth it! I’d have to say my favorite workout is probably burpees. I have always been “big.” In high school and college, I played football on the offensive line. But when football ended, the workouts went away and the eating habits did not.
